Erin is a genre-promiscuous writer/director who often plays in sandboxes of comedy and suspense, crafting dramas that masquerade as comedies until their final emotional gut punch.
Her directing portfolio includes wins at the Academy Award-Qualifying Hollyshorts and Cinequest, as well as Catalyst Story Institute. A dozen other Oscar-qualifying festivals have screened her work competitively and she’s twice competed at Cannes in the Emerging Filmmaker Showcase.
Erin is a Nicholl Fellowship Semifinalist and on the Coverfly Red List (top .07% of comedy projects in 2022). Her writing has advanced at Sundance Development Track, Sundance New Voices, Austin Film Festival, and dozens more, with several first-place wins.
She is the artistic director of Salute Your Shorts film festival, named “Best Film Festival” by USA Today in 2024. Curation has deeply impacted her curiosity and voice as an artist. Follow along on instagram.
